This is a very safe form of sedation used for children who are anxious but potentially cooperative
General Anaesthesia:
-treatment under general anaesthesic both in office and at Mater Children’s Hospital.
We work with a dedicated team of Specialist Paediatric Anaesthetists who provide general anaesthetics for those children requiring extensive treatment and those who are very frightened.
In this way, complex treatment can be completed for children who would otherwise be unable to accept dental treatment.
Following this, with good preventive care in place, children can become cavity free good dental patients for life.
